There are some occasions when things do not go as planned, so we need to understand the process for communication.
Student absence
If your child will not be on the bus for whatever reason please inform Dial a Ride directly on 01733 394545. They have an answer machine so please use it.
Bad Weather
Although this does not happen too often, there are times when the school may be closed due to bad weather. Check the College website as they will inform all bus companies accordingly. If necessary call Dial a Ride as I will not have this information to hand.
Complaints
If you are not happy with something, please call me directly on 07736 390717 so we can talk. If required, I will raise and chase any complaint via Dial a Ride through to a resolution.
Payment
This is the most time consuming part of the job. Please ensure you pay direct to the account details given on the payment page using your name as reference. Please pay on time as I will not be able to settle the invoices with Dial a Ride if payments are late.
Year 11 Leavers
Previously parents of Year 11 leavers have asked to pay only for ad hoc days to suit their child's revision and exam schedule. Please note this is not possible as all seats must be paid for whether in used or not as Dial a Ride require full payment for all days irrespective of circumstances.
